What is a DSA THEATRE BOOSTER?

DSA Theatre Parent Meeting 8/30 6:30PM in the Black Box Theatre!

DSA Theatre boosters include anyone who supports DSA theatre who is not a current DSA student—parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, alumni, community members.

Why do we NEED Boosters?

The DSA theatre program allows students to engage in all areas of theatre: sound production, set design, costumes, marketing, stage management as well as acting. With all these opportunities and a robust show lineup each year, it takes lots of support!

What do Boosters DO?

Theatre boosters support the program in many different ways throughout the year:

  • donate food and drink items for our concessions

  • donate toward show essentials such as microphones, set materials, lights, and play copyright costs

  • donate stage crew requested supplies such as duct tape or specific prop requests

  • volunteer on set build days or post-show set break down (strike)

  • donate snacks during dress rehearsal and show weeks

  • attend shows or become season ticket patrons

  • publicize shows in the community

  • help fund and support the DSA theatre program and productions

How do I become a BOOSTER?

Join our DSA Theatre Booster list serve. We let our boosters know as theatre needs and volunteer opportunities come up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
